Transforming the lives of children with special needs has always been the vision of businessman John Caudwell. In March 2000 he founded Caudwell Children, RCN 1079770, to provide funding for specialist equipment, treatments, therapies and dying wish holidays for sick and disabled children throughout the UK.
Since March 2000, Caudwell Children has contributed nearly £7 million towards making a significant and lasting improvement in the lives of 2000 children and young people.
Caudwell Children processes all applications quickly and effectively ensuring children do not have to wait months or even years for the help they need. As well as providing financial support to families in desperate need, the Charity also organises the provision of all equipment and services from beginning to end, ensuring a stress free process.
Recognising the vital contribution of Caudwell Children's work, a recent report has independently acknowledged that Caudwell children is the second largest provider of specialist equipment in the UK.
Moving forward the Charity is passionate about making a real and substantial change for children with any disability or medical condition.
